Study warns of rise in temperature and sea level in the coming years

A scientific study conducted by Dr. Waleed Zubari, Arabian Gulf University, revealed that sea-level rise, an overall threat to Bahrain low lying islands resulting from climate change, will pose another threat to its already depleted groundwater resources, where it is expected to contribute to sea water intrusion to these resources.
